Emerging Leaders

The Public Works Association of British Columbia’s Emerging Leaders group provides guidance, mentoring and training to aspiring professionals in the public works field. The Emerging Leaders group was created in 2015 and continues to provide resources for individuals who want to grow both personally and professionally.  The group regularly offers events focused on career development and provides opportunities to network with Public Works professionals.

Our Mission:

To build upon the success and innovation of PWABC to provide current and potential public works professionals with educational, network and career opportunities. Most importantly providing a pool of likeminded public works members who can help you examine and resolve problems and collectively advance processes.

Our Vision of Success;

• Host regular social, educational and training events aimed at Emerging Leaders, University Students and Public Works Professionals
• Work as a large entity to generally raise standard of work and leadership within Public Works
• Become provincially recognized as a key contributor to career advancement within Public Works
