The Town is surrounded by rivers, forests, and farmland in the shadow of Mount Arrowsmith. Small-town character, walkability, and year-round access to recreational opportunities support a high quality of life for residents and an attractive destination for visitors. The community features over four kilometers of curving, postcard-perfect sandy beaches. The Village Centre is vibrant, and an exciting revitalization of the East Village is under way. The Director is an integral member of the senior management team, providing collaborative, organization-wide leadership, and a variety of strategic and professional advice. You have demonstrated leadership abilities, value collaboration and commitment to the team. You have the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships. You appreciate the perspectives of others and thrive in a fast paced, multi-disciplinary environment. You are astute and progressive, anticipate challenges and can align and deliver results. You are flexible and willing to adjust priorities to meet changing deadlines. You inspire confidence in others and work to develop and maintain effective relationships. You demonstrate sincerity, honesty, empathy, and appreciation. You share, and are guided by, the values of our organization: professionalism, teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement. Your ability to lead the provision of engineering and operations services through an environmental, climate adapted, and customer focused lens will be key to success. You have either a degree in engineering or a diploma in civil engineering technology or a related field, and seven or more years of responsible leadership experience. Competitive compensation is based on experience and includes a comprehensive benefit package with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
