Under the guidance and reporting to the Director, Campus Planning & Facilities Operations, the Manager, Capital Projects oversees the day-to-day activities related to the planning, design, coordination and implementation of JIBC’s major capital projects and associated services. The Manager supports medium and long-term campus planning and all aspects of capital asset management.
The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline and a minimum of six years’ experience in asset and facilities management and/or capital project planning and/or interior design and/or architecture. The role requires experience with all phases of the delivery of major projects from concept design through construction phases and into occupancy, including within post-secondary or other public sector environments. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
